Hi Rainald
I have Office Ultimate 2007 on Desktop (running Vista Ultimate) and
Laptop (running XP Home).

OneNote 2007 is installed on both machines and I've been searching for
a way to sync OneNote files between them. Your way seems sensible, but
I'm hitting snags. I'm hoping you can help.

I've shared the OneNote notes folder on the Desktop, then mapped this
as "O" (for OneNote) drive. The O Drive shows up on the Laptop and I
can access the folder and internal files ok. So far so good!

I went into on the Laptop OneNote "Tools-Options-Share" and modified
the Default Notebook Location and Backup Folder to both point to the O
Drive. (I left the Unfiled Notes section as I just wanted to check the
"proper" notes from the Desktop were being picked up).

I have shut down re-started the Laptop and OneNote several times, but
when I open OneNote on the Laptop, it still has just the default
initial notes from its original installation. What am I doing wrong
please?
