My old computer was running msn 9.5. The HD failed so my husband got me a
gently used one (pc). I used an old msn 9.0 cd to get started and online with
it.
A lot of the features don't work and support said it was because it was so
old, to update. My service is through Qwest, so 9.5 is all that's available
for now.
I uninstalled the 9.0, loaded the cd , it did it's thing, but no connection
was made, gave me errors 195 and 194. MSN tech support said that didn't make
sense, had me go through it all again. Checked everything, modem etc.
Uninstalled it all.
Then had me make a test connection to download it all again, it still would
not make an auto connection, nor let me make a manual connection later.
Next tried loading the cd with 9.0 still in place, it messed up the
connection I already...

I recently had to do some fixing with my msn 9 and my pc. I run winxp.

Since the fixes my msn sing in welcome board pops up on booting and at
other times while I'm doing something else. It used to only open when I
clicked on one of the icons I have on my desk top or in the tray.

Is there a way to stop this from happening and go back to it only opening
when I want it to?

message " delay write failed data has been lost" windows tech support cant
answer. tried the web source, the fluffed me off to the web source i was
using. they had no idea what i was talking about.Anyone else ever seethe

Hello, can anyone assist in telling me how to overcome the error code

I had an XP Desktop using MSN dialup (MSN Client9.60.0053.2200) and now I
have gotten a Vista Notebook with dialup and with Alltel Wireless Access. I
plan to keep MSN dialup on both PC's, but disabling the dialer when using the
wireless connection. First, MSN Explorer looks really lousy on Vista. Second,
it seems that Vista will not let me make MSN email my default email program.
I have clicked all the MSN email settings and prompts to make it the
default, but the Vista Start menu and IE will not accept MSN as the default
email. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to force MSN as the default email
program? Third, using wireless, it looks like it would make more sense for
the to use Windows Live Mail and Favorites and just not bother with the MSN
client BUT - you can't use the downloadable...

I downloaded the TRIAL offer of Microsoft 2007. I DO NOT want it, and have
