I have data in following format
A1:A100 - numbers
B1:B100 - text
C1:C70 - text (to be searched in column2)

In cloumn4 - Vlookup formula =VLOOKUP(C1,$A1$1:$B$100,1,FALSE)

My above formula does not return NUMBERS in cloumn A even if the TEXT in
column C is matching with cloumn B

I have already tried changing cloumn A to numbers through formatn cells &
arranged cloumn 3 data in ascending order.

Request help why VLOOKUP does not return matching values.
