When I try to install halo 2 for vista, I get the following error messgae:

One of the installation steps failed: redists\vcredist.msi:
This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application
vendor to verify that this is a valid installer package.

So I got Halo 2 for Vista for Christmas, and on the box it has a round
sticker with "Free 1 Month LIVE Gold Trial Inside."

The "Free 1 Month LIVE Gold Trial" was not inside.

Hello,

I hope someone can help me in this issue, i install GoW on my vista64 and
after it run into the game it crash say poping this massage "GoW has Stop
Working". I went to look for the answer in google i find out is when the SP1
is install on vista that GoW crash. Do anyone have the solution for this
problem?

I am trying to install halo2 for vista I get the error code:
REDIDTS\VCREDIST.MSI: user cancelled installitaion. I did not cancel the
install and I have no idea why i cant install the game any thoughts?

  GoW not getting past initial splash screen loading

Hi guys,
I'm really hoping someone has an answer.
GoW will not start. I get the initial splash screen, the one you see as soon
as you hit the icon under the games section in the start menu, thats it.
Nothing else, I have left it for over half an hour and still nothing. I can
close it by right-clicking in the taskbar, selecting close. I then get the
"...stopped working..." and it checks on-line for a solution. This box closes
and nothing is reported back to me.

Specs
C2D E8500 stock speed
2 GB G.Skill DDR3-1600
Asus P5Q3 deluxe WiFi @n (wireless adapter turned off) latest BIOS
XfX 8800GT 512mb Alpha dog edition latest NVidia driver at time of posting
Seagate 500GB 7200.11 drive
Vista 32-bit ultimate with SP1 incl all other updates

Yah were having a problem getting onto halo well we get on and then we cant
get in or have to use ip and i cant get in myself!!!
