New to Outlook.
I'm trying to create new stationery. I've saved some photos/icons and
create new stationery, but when it appears, it is duplicating the image
throughout the entire page.
What do I need to change?

I am working on a ASP.NET 2.0 and MCMS 2002 based Web Application, the
development server response time is awesome but when it goes to the Quality
Control Server and since they are using automated tool called WebLoad Pro the
performance goes down, I have tweaked my application a lot but nothing seems
to be working like the QC Automated tool takes 10-20 seconds/page but on
development server the same thing works with in milliseconds.
yes the application is Deployed on Network Load Balancer with SQLStateServer
and I have given the Machingkeys to both the IIS :)
Can anybody help me in finding the solution

Please forgive me for the lengthy post. I am trying to provide as much
detail as possible. We are running MCMS 2002 SP1a on a Win2003 Server
environment.
Recently some of our end-users are having problems editing postings they
have created. The error message they get is:
Save Placeholder Failed.
Error Details: Server error. Contact the site administrator.
Really useful error message there. The user in question has rights to the
channel they are creating the posting in (but not channels above it), and has
no problems creating a new posting, only editing an existing one (even if
they are the creator of the posting). The user is able to open the posting
for edit, but receives the error when she tries to save it. This user is
also an editor, which makes her able to approve postings.

Hello
we transfer content from our authoring server to the live web server, using
scripts developed by a third party. The script appears to do 2 tasks:-
firstly, it calls a third party resource exporter dll. There's a comment
saying "to create a posting linking to resources to make sure these are
included in the incremental export".
Secondly the cmsDeployServer.cmsdeployexport.1 is used to perform the
export. Even though I didn't write this script (which has been operational
for several years now), it looks fairly standard in comparison to other
scripts I've seen on the net.
The problem is pdf files aren't always uploaded to the live server. It
appears that if there is a link to the pdf document within the main section
of the page it's fine.
However, if the pdf document is included in a download control (user control
within the cms template) then the pdf does not appear on the live site.
Now that I’ve discovered you can unzip sdo files, I can confirm that when
this problem occurs, the issue is that the pdf is not being exported.
The download control was written by the same third party, who developed the
scripts.

Hi,
Will there be any issue if I've two separate but identical aspx pages used
by a single cms template ?
e.g. I've two separate websites, one for reading contents and one for
authoring. Both websites are run by separate .net projects.CMS template is
mapped to aspx page inside author project. So authors use
http://authorwebsite/pages/page1.aspx for editing and readers use
http://readerwebsite/pages/page1.aspx for viewing contents.
Both "page1.aspx" are identical.
Appreciate any advise on this.
Cheers,
Smita

Hi
Not being a very techy person I need a bit of advice - we have MS Exchange
Server 2003 which we use to collect and deliver our emails.
We would like to set this up so that the email delivery time from server to
Outlook 2007 on our PC's is more often than every 15 minutes.
Is this possible?

Hi I'm having problems re content placed in a Telerik placeholder control not
being stored & am wondering if it could be due to Ajax controls I'm also
using on the template. Thanks ... Chris

Some general stuff about how we are set up then my questions.
Our organisation has a web site based around mcms 2002. We use scripts
developed by a third party, to export content from our authoring server, ftp
the sdo to the live server (hosted externally) and import the sdo on the live
server. These three scripts are executed using Windows scheduled tasks, 3
times a day.
Users requested that we develop functionality, which would permit them to do
immediate uploads, for example, a facility like a school is shut owing to
severe weather.
Thanks
David
Nestle idea was to grant users access to site manager, let them export the
page and then use a web application to ftp it to the live server. We could
then develop a Windows service to monitor a folder on the live web server for
sdo files, which would execute the vbs import script.
Basically had to abandon this idea, not all the users would be site manager
administrators and therefore have access to the export option. Also, our
infrastructure security would not permit users access to site manager from
home.

Hi,
I Downloaded SP3 and now every time I go to close a tab or an IE page I get
the error and send report box. Every time. No exceptions. Each time I hit
the red X or close a tab it shuts down IE and asks to send an error report.
Quite annoying. Anyone have any idea how to stop it? Help please.
Pat
