of the parameters is an string of xml, that I want to save to a file for
debugging purposes. When I try to save the message, I get only 1 part and
its not the one I want..

How can just save the one message part that I want?

I am developing an EDI BizTalk project and one of the requirements is create
a Common BizTalk Recovery Process for all BizTalk Applications.

The idea is when an error occurs in ReceivePort, SendPort and Orchestration
processing the Unified Recovery Process
should come in to try to re-process the message from the last step where the
error ocurred (last persisted state).

I have been analyzing how I can accomplish this task.
My first approach is to add try/catch blocks in my orchestrations and when
an exception is raised so I´ll stop the
execution of orchestration using the suspended shape. This will allow me
that orchestration will be saved into suspended
resumable section and I will have another application that it will be
listening suspended objects and it will try to
reprocess the failure message in its last persisted state.

In addition I will send an email to administrator when the message can not
be re-processed by recovery process, etc.

I do not have much experience in BizTalk so can someone please let me know
if this approach is a good way to accomplish this requirement?

During execution numerous instances of csc.exe can be seen in Task
Manager, which slows down the application considerably. The proxy classes
show the SoapDocumentMethod as the protocol, not SoapRpcMethod. Also, this
was a documented issue, as found at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/839450.

Can anyone tell me why the csc.exe compiler is running in this instance?

The following work-around steps
worked for me. Perfom these steps from within Visual Studio.

1 - Exclude the orchestration from the project.
2 - Hit the button "Show All Files" while your project is selected.
3 - Delete the orchestration CS-file.
4 - Include the orchestration in your project.
5 - Hit the button "Show All Files" again while your project is selected.

processing.

When the message send fails I get one messaging and one orchestration
service marked as suspended(resumable) in the group hub. This makes sense.

The problem is I cannot resume the orchestration instance successfully. I
have tried resuming the message first, then the orchestration. I have also
tried resuming them together.

The orchestration will not resume even when the resumed message completes
successfully.

Any insight it appreciated,
