  Configuring an Orchestration

Author: Waqar Sadiq
Date: Jul 22, 2008 14:40

Is there a mechanism for providing configuring an orchestration in the same
way once configures a custom adapter. I have an orchestration that I would
like to customize based on some configuration information. This
configuration information however, is not available in the messages that the
orchestration is processing and I would no want to hard code this
information in any code because I am designing this as a reusable
orchestration that can be used for different projects within our
environment.

Thanks.

  Calling .Net code from Orchestration

Author: Waqar Sadiq
Date: Jul 22, 2008 14:27

Hello,

I have an orchestration that receives a message. Once the orchestration
receives a message, it is supposed to invoke our custom API and generate a
series of messages.

Does anybody have pointers to some tutorials for invoking C# code from an
orchestration? Are there any best practices or Dos and Don'ts for invoking
C# from Orchestrations?

Thanks,

Waqar Sadiq

  Constructing a message

Author: Waqar Sadiq
Date: Jul 15, 2008 09:12

I have an orchestration in which I have an incoming message - BatchResponse.
This message has a element called "ResponseDetail" that contains another XML
fragment. I want to use that xml fragment to create another called
"JobInformation". The xml fragment is according to the schema for the
JobInformation. I would like to use the "Construct Message" shape to create
the "JobInformation" message from the "BatchResponseMessage". I have made
the BatchResponse.ResponseDetail a distinguished field and have made all
elements of the JobInformation message distinguished.

I tried to use a "Message Assignment" in the construct message shape with
the following expression:

JobInformation = BatchResponse.ResponseDetail;

However, this expression is invalid. Can someone provide some guidance.

Thanks.

Send Port Error:Object reference not set to an instance of an obje

Many thanks for reading thispost.
i'm chasing an issue and i desperatly need any idea or help to resolve this
faceless problem.

My interface is pushing XML messages to INSERT/UPDATE in Oracle database,
btw Connectivity with DB is solid, this interface processes messages
everynight. nightly we get a load of anywwhere between 10,000 - 20,000
invoices which ultimately needs to go to ORACLE. & in first attemt about
50-60%% of the messages do go thru leaving about 40-50%% in suspended Queue
whcih we then resume manually and then they eventually all go thru.

I have checked with Oracle DBAs for any issue on their side and found none.
i'm using TheEnablergroup's BizTalk Utilities Adapter for Databases Transport.

Any idea what would be the problem & error i get is mentiond below....
has anyone been in same boat ever???

Something like an interruptor pattern with a twist

Author: jonnsree

Hi All,
I have a sleek strict dynamic application in which all instances are
instantiated by subscriptions. The application layout is so that for
a
given unique id in a message there could be different kinds of
messages that can be generated which inturn will generate different
kinds of orchestration and send port instances. And it could be a
while (some times a couple of hours, seldom in days) before all the
messages for a given id get processed all the way.

Now the requirement is so that while messages for a given id are
being
processed ( there could be messages from multiple ids that are
processed simultaneously), there should be a way to stop all the
messages with that id from being processed any further. And also be
able to resume processing those messages when needed.

I thought interruptor pattern, but in this case it is multiple
orchestrations all on subscriptions and also send ports.

  Orchestration to process a file

Author: Waqar Sadiq

I apologize upfront for a very long message.

We get large files, usually flat files that can contain over a million
records. We have to process these files in their entirety and then send an
summary back to the client. This summary generally...
