  RE: address book

Hi Barb,

It sounds like you might (?) be using Windows Vista, with Windows Mail,
which replaced Outlook Express. If this is the case, I suggest that you
re-post your question to the "Windows Mail and Contacts" group shown in this
listing of Vista support groups:

Windows Vista discussion groups:
http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.mspx

This newsgroup is intended for Q&A related to using the database software
known as Microsoft Access.

Hi dad and lou and joshie,

I am playing with my computer and have found out how to send my emails
through it. Thought that I would give it a try and see if it works with my
phone email.

Hopefully it is working and you get this.

Have a lovely weekend, I intend to do absolutely nothing!

Lots of love

Judy

Locking out the very last "new" record in a form

Author: martinmike2
Date: Sep 20, 2008 04:06

Hello,

I have a form that I use to move through my records. I do not use the
record selectors, but command buttons. What is occuring, is once I
get to the end of the recordset, I move into what I call the star
field ( the empty record at the bottom of all tables, for adding a new
record ). Since I have a new record system already established, I do
not want my users to move into this "star field"

Is there a way to prevent this behaviour?

  REMOVING SUB-FORM LABELs

Author: FARAZ QURESHI
Date: Sep 19, 2008 23:59

When I insert a subform in the design mode I find the XL2007 always creating
an unwanted label on the left of the child form. I don't know how to move
this label above the subform as a heading or completely remove it.

Can you also create a subform on a tabbed form?

All help would be appreciated!

Thanx in advance.

Best Regards,
FARAZ A. QURESHI

What is the point of linking tables?

Author: JString
Date: Sep 19, 2008 22:03

I've been playing around with this a bit and I can't figure out how this
would be very helpful at all.

It would be nice if I could split my bigger tables into a network of smaller
linked and synchronized tables, but when I try it the linked tables down the
line never get updated... each one has to be updated manually. Am I doing
something wrong here or am I just missing the point?

Access 2003 File Size Get Bigger and Bigger

Author: Chlaris
Date: Sep 19, 2008 20:42

Dear all,

I use Access 2003 to develop. The file format is Access 2002-2003.
I have a refresh link form. I run this form repeteadly.
I see the file size is getting bigger.
I do the same thing with Access 97, but the file size is fixed.
I can upload the MDB file if you want to check.
Is there any bug with Access 2003 ?
Please help. Thanks.

Chlaris
