and amavisd-new (amavisd-new-2.4.2 (20060627) ).
Sometimes, at random times i get messages stuck in the mail queue due
to a time out.
This is what mailq says:
(conversation with 127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1] timed out while sending end of
data -- message may be sent more than once)

At the same time i get an error message in the error log saying:
Sep 1 10:06:36 mailserver amavis[23634]: (23634-01) (!!) TROUBLE in process_req
uest: Error writing a SMTP response to the socket: Broken pipe at (eval 41) line
788, line 58.

For different mails i get different error messages, but all of them
seem to be related to amavis.

Does anyone knows what's wrong?

Notice the lack of MYNETS/MYUSERS in the amavis log above and can also
be seen from a log level 5 amavis log:

So I guess the reason for not signing is that the email is not
considered originating for locally submitted mail. Why? What am I missing?

If I did, I don't think it should have done anything to dkim signatures,
but I will doublecheck rewrite rules.

I have upgraded from Mail-DKIM .31 to .32 to see if it helps.
Anyone else missing the DKIM_VERIFIED rule on legit email?
any reason .31 started to fail?

Typically what needs to be quoted are: . ? + * | ( ) [ ] { } ^ $ \ @
and a character which is used as a regexp delimiter, often a /

To avoid having to quote a /, instead of:
uri L_LUST /^http:\/\/www\.(need|crave)-lust\.com(\/|$)/i
one could use:
uri L_LUST m{^http://www\.(need|crave)-lust\.com(/|$)}i

I've just moved from a Debian Etch system running
Postfix/Courier/AMaViS/ClamAV with virtual domains/users in MySQL (based on
the old Sarge workaround.org tutorial[1]) and have now done a fresh install
on another Debian Etch server, this time based on the newer workaround.org
tutorial [2] using Dovecot.

AMaViS and ClamAV appear to be working fine, but despite having almost
exactly the same settings on each server the new one is marking most spam
VERY low. I hardly had any trouble with spam on the old machine, and am
getting deluged on the new one. I doubt this is anything to do with stored
Bayesian info etc as I'd done a fresh install of the old server a couple of
weeks ago, and it was still just as robust at filtering spam. I wondered
if perhaps the new server isn't running all the tests the old server was,
but looking at the contents of /etc/amavis/conf.d/ and the
/etc/spamassassin/local.cf files they're practically identical.

I wondered if there might be another configuration file I should be
checking, but can't think of one. Any suggestions?
