For Evolution 2.23.90, we've removed that pesky "Crash Recovery" dialog
in favor of a more subtle approach: if the previous session crashed then
the previously selected mail message is simple not selected (and, more
to the point, not automatically previewed). This allows the user to
avoid GtkHtml rendering crashes on startup.
The relevant section from the user documentation has also been removed.

Hey Shaun, all,
Louis just raised this question on gnumeric-list, thought you all might
have an answer:

what's the status of equation handling in gnome docs?
thanks,

Thanks! I've committed the patches to gnome-desktop,
gnome-settings-daemon, and gnome-control-center now.
Dear translators and documenters:
There are some new strings in
gnome-settings-daemon/plugins/gsd-xrandr-manager.c, which I kindly ask
that you translate :)
There are some GUI changes in the display capplet in
gnome-control-center, and also in the xrandr tray icon in
gnome-settings-daemon (enabled by turning on the GConf key
"/apps/gnome_settings_daemon/xrandr/show_notification_icon".
Thanks!
Federico

I read the GNOME documentation style guide and the docbook
documentation. I just dont understand how to help improve the
wiki for developers or make download pdf for them.
I would like to write a guide for the newbie package maintainer
like which libraries they need to be familiar with,
which tools they need etc. How can I do this and who do I need to chat with?
I got time on my hands and I could begin today..

============================================================
checkbox
Use "checkbox" to refer to a user interface control that
allows the user to select or deselect a single option. Do
not use checkbox to refer to toggle buttons, which behave
similarly, but appear as buttons. When a checkbox appears
in a menu, refer to it as a check menu item.
Unless it is necessary to state that the option is a checkbox,
prefer the term "option". Usually, you can simply refer to a
checkbox by its label.
The user clicks a checkbox to select or deselect it. Do not
use "check", "unselect", or "clear". Usually, you can simply
instruct the user to select or deselect the checkbox.
A checkbox is selected or unselected. Some checkboxes can be
in a mixed state. The user can click the checkbox to switch
between its selected, unselected, and mixed states. When
referring to the mixed state in help and support text, explain
to the user what it means and what effect it has.
