  AUFS or UNIONFS on Fedora?

Author: Miguel
Date: Sep 1, 2008 08:26

Does anyone know how to install and set either of these up under Fedora 8?
Ordinarily I have no problem figuring this stuff out but I can't seem to be able
to find either of these in any of the repos. Assuming that there just are NOT
any RPM's out there, where exactly do you find the sources for the compile? If
you do compile from source will I need to re-compile every time there is a
kernel update?

I have found loads of articles about AUFS and Unionfs by searching Google, but
all of them start off with the assumption that these things are already
available on your machine? What I need is a howto on getting it installed in
the first place!

Can you configure window focus stealing prevention in GNOME?

Author: Fred
Date: Jul 27, 2008 08:40

Is it possible to configure focus stealing prevention in gnome 2.22? I'm
using it under Fedora 9. What I'm actually doing is loading a text file
in to a running instance of my gvim editor. Under KDE or XFCE, focus is
then switched to gvim after loading a file from the command line.

-Thanks

linux Adobe default paper always US letter

Author: Borked Pseudo Mailed
Date: Jul 25, 2008 02:17

I have Adobe 8 under Red Hat with CUPS for printing.
The default printer paper is US letter, but I am not in USA.
Every other program prints A4 by default, but not Adobe.
I added LANG and LC_PAPER to the .cshrc and .profile to
be sure. I can't find any Adobe configuration file
that stores the paper size.
Any ideas where this is hiding?
