I request an adopter for the perl-tk package. I recommend someone with
more Perl/Tk experience adopt this package.
The package description is:
Perl/Tk (also known as pTk or ptk) is a collection of modules and
code that attempts to wed the easily configured Tk 4 widget toolkit
to the powerful lexigraphic, dynamic memory, I/O, and object-oriented
capabilities of Perl 5. In other words, it is an interpreted
scripting language for making widgets and programs with Graphical
User Interfaces (GUI).
.
A good place to get started is by running the "widget" demo that's
installed with this package.

Hi all,
currently there are at least two packages providing the `spfquery` tool:=20
the "libmail-spf-query-perl" package and the "spfquery" package (the=20
latter of which is based on libspf2). (I am also working on a "libmail-=20
spf-perl" package for the Mail::SPF Perl module, which is supposed to be=20
the successor of Mail::SPF::Query and will also bring its own version of=20
an `spfquery` tool.)
I think it would be a good idea to have those packages use the alternatives=
=20
system instead of conflicting with each other. So I updated the libmail-=20
spf-query-perl in the DPG's Subversion repo for a 1:1.999.1-3 release to=20
use the alternatives system. (I am also going to contact the maintainer=20
of the "spfquery" package and submit an according patch.)
Please consider uploading libmail-spf-query-perl 1:1.999.1-3.

Just to let you all know, I am uploading libmath-round-per this weekend.
It has been recently orphaned and has some rdepends (including one of my
packages).
Cheers,
Carlo

As she entered the great hall a voice called out, in a rather harsh tone:
What! are YOU here again? Yes, I am, she answered, looking all around to see
where the voice came from. Thank you, murmured the boy

Orphaned perl libraries constitute a meaningful proportion of the
orphaned packages. Could the perl team take a look at them? Perhaps
they might wish to adopt some, and perhaps they might be able to
point to some which in their opinion should be removed from Debian
(perhaps some are obsolete or folded into the main perl distribution).
List follows, excluding packages which are already being removed
or ITAed:
