  Where can I find some java classes in Debian

Author: Petter Reinholdtsen
Date: Mar 30, 2008 05:40

I had a go at building openjump version 1-2-D with ecj, but ran into a
few missing classes.

The problematic ones are com.ermapper.ecw, javax.media.jai,
de.fho.jump.pirol.utilities and org.jmat.

Do these classes exist in Debian?

There is also a problem with the use of
com.sun.image.codec.jpeg.JPEGDecodeParam. This is the code in
question:

RenderedOp image = null;
[...]
image = FileLoadDescriptor.create(file.getPath(),null,null,null)
[...]
int jpg_colorspace = image.getColorModel().getColorSpace().getType();
if (jpg_colorspace != JPEGDecodeParam.COLOR_ID_GRAY)

Is there an easy way to replace this with code that work with GNU
Classpath?

Happy hacking,

sablevm provides only java-runtime. I don't know if there's a definition
what java-runtime means.

My intent was to drop java-runtime and only depend on java-gcj-compat |
java2-runtime.

Can someone from the Java team answer the question on what packages a
package should depend that is built with java-gcj-compat-dev.
