Please restore the ability to use US timezones as was previously
available. The current tzdata configuration loses that ability and
requires a city to be selected which is neither as correct nor as
convenient.
For example, I am currently in Kansas City. KC is in US Central
Standard Time. If I could select KC as a city option and use it to
configure the timezone that would be okay. But I can't. KC is not an
available city selection option. KC is large and isn't available!
There is no way to provide a selection for every city, most of which
are much smaller, and that is not really what is needed. Quick, what
is the correct city to choose to select US Central Standard Time when
in KC? I see Winnipeg in the list and the web shows me that it is in
the same timezone so I guess Winnipeg is the best choice for me in KC.

Hello there,
Now that lenny is frozen shouldn't glibc depend to a newer ( 2.6.26) kernel
version? Currently, MIN_KERNEL_SUPPORTED is set to 2.6.9 and (as you know)
leaves out some newer features.
Apologies if this is nonsense.

Linux uses bit 1 for the nosegneg pseudo hwcap, not 0. This makes this
package currently unusable. (And the systems really slow.)

Hi,
Ldd already contains a workaround for SE Linux for access to users
terminal through file descriptor of standard output. It should be
improved by handling all three standard file descriptors. Only standard
output is used, but stdin and stderr are also inherited by traced
process and SE Linux says about permission `use' file descriptor. I got
SE Linux denial with original ldd running on elf with domain transition
(e.g. /sbin/udevd):

As there is a chance that "PACOTE" means package in Portuguese, I
think that someone forgot to replace a variable somewhere..:-)
tzdata maintainers, I'll attempt another translation update
call. Maybe there's a chance that translation that only have one fuzzy
for "Santarem" will wake up....

I have just removed the symbols files from the glibc, because dpkg-dev
currently doesn't have support for ignoring private symbols from
libraries. This causes problems like this one on nscd:
Depends: glibc-private, libc6 (>= 2.8)
Until this feature is supported in dpkg-dev, this bug is a wontfix.
