new cracklib2-2.8.12 version fixes an RC bug and adds a transition path from python-crack

Dear release team,

there is a new version of cracklib2 (2.8.12-8) in NEW. It provides a
transition path from the python-crack package available in Etch
(#499056) in addition to the fixed RC bug (#499013) in 2.8.12-7 (added
to unstable yesterday).

The package has been improved a lot with minimal code changes (only
changed some lines of code in the Python binding to fix the RC bug)
since the version 2.8.12-2 which is already in Lenny.

I think it would benefit the users if the 2.8.12-8 version would be
included in Lenny.

Due to the added transitional package python-crack the package has to
be pushed to unstable first.

Please consider the inclusion into Lenny. I add the changelog since
2.8.12-2 below.

Regards
Jan
