Bonjour,

Je viens de voir un truc c'est que /dev/ethX a disparu mais le réseau
fonctionne correctement pour tous les logiciels clients.
Mais dès que je veux passer l'interface en mode "promiscious" j'ai un
beau message "ioctl(SIOCGARP): No such device".
Pour ceux que ça intéresse je veux pouvoir utiliser le programme
dhcp_probe (http://www.net.princeton.edu/software/dhcp_probe/)...
Je suppose que le programme cherche le fichier /dev/ethX de mon
interface alors si vous avez la solution je suis preneur ;)

Nous venons d'avoir une discussion dans -l10n-french à propos de la
traduction de "Live CD". Jusqu'ici, on parlait, sans grande conviction
de "CD exécuté en mémoire" et autres paraphrases pour éviter de
"traduire" par "Live CD". Bof.

Arnaud Bonvallet a apporté la proposition de "CD autonome" que j'aime
personnellement bien et qui, pour l'instant, n'a pas déclenché de
hurlements chez les traducteurs.

Qu'en pensent les développeurs francophones ?

(incidemment, cela m'anène à l'idée de discuter parfois des
traductions les plus délicates avec les développeurs, ie d'autres
personnes que la comunauté des traducteurs...ça ne peut pas faire de
mal parfois)

Je tiens à préciser que je débute en programmation C / SDL donc si je viens de poster une grosse bétise ... milles excuses d'avance.

Voilà après avoir installé le package libsdl-image1.2-dev, la commande:
sdl-config --libs
retourne toujours:
-L/usr/lib -lSDL
et pas:
-L/usr/lib -lSDL -lSDL_image

or actuellement entrain de développer sous Kdevelop, celui-ci m'indique ne pas trouver les fonctions de la SDL_Image:
undefined reference to `IMG_Load'

Dans les sources de mon projet Kdevelop, j'ai trouvé dans le fichier configure.in la ligne suivante:
LIBSDL_LIBS="`$LIBSDL_CONFIG --libs`"

que j'ai remplacé par:
LIBSDL_LIBS="-L/usr/lib -lSDL -lSDL_image"

où LIBSDL_LIBS m'a l'air d'être défini par:
KDE_FIND_PATH(sdl-config, LIBSDL_CONFIG,
[${prefix}/bin${exec_prefix}/bin /usr/local/bin /opt/local/bin],
[AC_MSG_WARN([Could not find libsdl anywhere, check http://www.sdl.org])])

et là ça marche.

Je vois dans les actualités des projets basculants de Ubuntu vers Fedora car
le .deb "ne permet pas clairement de distinguer les licences".

Existe-il un groupe de travail planchant sur cette problématique ?
Toujours cette histoire de RPM vs .deb, extiste-t-il un solution ? Existe-t-il
un projet d'harmonisation et de standardisation ?

La LSB ne reconnait toujours pas le .deb, est-ce prévu dans les futures
versions.

Je trouve interessant de voir de plus en plus de distribution se baser sur le
dépôt Debian. Peut-être qu'une évolution du système de paquet sous forme
d'une standardisation qui prend en compte le "meilleur" de chaque système
déjà existant serait une avancée qui pourrait renforcer cette idée que Debian
pourrait devenir le socle principale des distribution Linux ...

I've seen that there won't be a DebianDay in France this year :(
We are organizing our Italian one in Finale Ligure, which is quite near
to France (almost 100 km East from the French border, placed on the
Mediterranean sea) on 16th August.
I've also recently spoken with Enrico Zini, who told me that there are
some (many?) DD living near the border (Provence and Alpes, I'd
suppose) and suggested me to send here a brief notice of the event.

So, if you aren't attending Debconf in Argentina and would like to join
us enjoying DebianDay '08, you're really welcome there.
There is a page for the event on our wiki[1], but is mainly intended for
the Italian audience; feel free to contact me directly if you can't
gather necessary informations from there.
