Bug#415234: kcheckgmail from etch is unable to check mail on gmail.com

Author: Raphael
Date: Mar 31, 2007 21:50

Hi everybody,

I just made what I hope will be the last source commits to the CVS. I
will notify the translators mailing list so they update the
translations before KCheckGMail 0.5.6 is released.
Pierre, you can now have the latest version by installing the package
from http://deb.atomo64.puffinhost.com/

Bug#396132: #396132: gtk-gnutella: stable upstream version is out

Author: Dererk
Date: Mar 31, 2007 20:00

Hi again,

I'm really sad that this matter didn't go to anywhere during this 4
months, even more, being the upstream source already debianized! :(

I'll try to remark the main subject here:
*The available version (even on sid) is _USELESS_ on gnutella network*

Please, upload the current version on svn, 0.96.3.

Thanks in advance,

Dererk

ps: I compiled it myself with no problems at all.

Bug#416947: depends on non-essential package debconf in postrm

No, you *should* be invoking the debconf confmodule from the postrm, because
this is a hint to debconf to purge your templates on postrm purge.

You just need to invoke it opportunistically by checking first whether the
file is available.

  Bug#410537: Kept open?

Author: Steve M. Robbins
Date: Mar 31, 2007 12:50

Well, I'm the one who closed this bug, so clearly I think it
is resolved. ;-)

I remain convinced that it is a toolchain bug on the alpha, for all
the reasons already mentioned in the bug report, plus the fact
that turning off optimization makes it go away. If you want the
bug re-opened, my advice is to investigate it and find either

(1) a small test case to prove it is a compiler bug; or
(2) the invalid C++ code in cppunit.

Cheers,
-Steve

Bug#416951: File is lost during tagging

Author: Christoph Burgmer
Date: Mar 31, 2007 11:20

Package: picard
Version: 0.7.2-2
Severity: grave

--- Please enter the report below this line. ---
While tagging several albums today a file was lost.

I'll describe my actions in a chronological order:

I tagged seven albums and clicked on save. The first album couldn't be saved
due to wrong setting of write permissions. Then after writing the first 3
titles of the second album Picard was stuck for...
