Can you give the exact message and (while the message is open) the
output of "ps ax"? gPodder does not display these settings, so this
might be related to gnome-settings-daemon or similiar.

Bugs 453446 (no Tipptrainer menu entry) and 452994 (no Debian Gnome
panel menu) are related.
Having 452994 fixed would most probably fix bug 453446, but at the
same time, according to joss@ debian.org, one "should file bugs against
[Tipptrainer] so that they provide a desktop file."

Package: kde-kdm-themes
Version: 2007.01-1
Severity: normal
1) Go to
KDE Control Center > System Administration > KDM Theme Manager
2) Switch to the Administrator Mode by typing the root password;
3) Uncheck the "Enable KDE Themes";
4) Press the "OK" button, and quit the Control Center.
Then, when I repeat (1) and (2), I see the "Enable KDE Themes"
still checked.
Similarly, I do (1) and (2) above and
3') Change the theme;
and (4). Then, when I repeat (1) and (2), I see the same original
theme (Krystal) is still selected.
As a result, if I purge the kde-kdm-themes and restart the computer,
KDM complains that it can't find Krystal.
Hope this helps,
Ryo

Dear all,
I would like to have an option (e.g., in /etc/updatedb.findutils.cron.local)
to DISABLE running updatedb. I prefer having mlocate installed (it is less
trashing on the disk cache, faster, etc). But I also have dlocate installed
which depends on locate, but does not use the locate database, but recreates
its own one from the /v/l/dpkg/info/*.list files.
So now mlocate and locate rebuild their databases daily.
I would like to disable the locate run. (BTW, others may want to decide
running the cron job only once a week or only manually, so the idea to
make admins to disable the cronjob might be interesting for them, too)

I have one zyxel wireless usb 802.11b (kernel module zd1201) but dhcp
doesn't work at boot time (open wifi lan). After booting dhcp worked.
Then I changed init script networking from /etc/rcS.d to /etc/rc2.d
and the init at boot goes fine, I think cause other init script (may
be d-bus) should be launched before networking ( at least for that usb
wifi). I'm not familiarized whiith rc.d init scripts and I don't know
if that solution has any security or incompatible issue.

You're patch changes $Options{'require_sigs_meta'} to
$Options{'require_sigs'} but you say $Options{'require_sigs_meta'}
must be used. Can you clarify this?

Hi all
I did last NMU of PyICQt and I know that more could be done, but I felt
it should not be done as NMU, so I uploaded just fixes which were
needed to make PyICQt at least run. However mine packages with
more patches are at http://debian.cihar.com/ (this is probably not the
latest version I actually run, but it should be quite close).
It looks like current PyICQt maintainers are not much interested in
it anymore, so this question is addressed to them: Do you have any
plans of further maintenance of PyICQt? If not I'd like to take over
the package from you. If there will be no reaction till 1st January
2008, I will hijack this package.

Package: xorg-dev
Version: 1:7.3+7
Severity: minor
I was compiling the wacom driver from source and to be able to compile
the Xorg driver you need the Xorg libraries. I run
aptitude install xorg-dev
hoping it would pull all dev packages. However I got an error at
compile time saying that it was missing pixman.h
After installing libpixman-dev it worked*.
I couldnt find any bug reporting this so that's why I'm reporting
Thanks
Pablo
* I had to change -I include paths but that's wacom driver's fault I guess.

libdigest-md5-perl is a vitual package of perl now. debpool Recommends
should now be:
Recommends: gnupg, libdigest-sha1-perl, libproc-daemon-perl
Also, one part of the description should be changed.
-* Generating Release files (requires libdigest-{md5,sha1}-perl)
+* Generating Release files (requires libdigest-sha1-perl)
