Boh, in effetti chi ha proposto questo pezzo di archeologia
giornalistica ci ha lasciato ignari dei motivi che l'hanno indotto a
farlo.
Ad ogni buon conto, oggigiorno il ricordo del risuonare del passo
d'oca è talmente assopito (ahimé) che Bruckner non ha davvero più
nulla da temere per la propria popolarità al di fuori dei confini
amici.
Ed un certo Gustav Mahler, sconosciuto (sic) ai viennesi di allora, si
prenderebbe una bella rivincita sul buon Schmidt.
