Another day in Hell.

I have done nothing (useful) today.

The day was just horrible - And it started early at 8:00 (at the
university - had to wake up at 6:30 - yuck).

The grilled Schweinehaxe from yesterday is still, heavy, immanent, and
undigested, in my stomach.

Early morning is still cold here.

Just arrived at office - printer not printing. Elena (sysadm with
taumaturgical properties - once repaired a broken laptop just by
touching its lid) fixed that (well, she just tried - she rebooted the
print server).

Email not working (resumed some kind of functionality again at 9) -
even the corresponding ports blocked at the whole university.
Maintenance work. The morons at the computing center, when they want
to do some work, they just tear down the whole netwak. it is called
maintenance. Used webmail on other accounts. Very unpleasant. Thrown
some insults in some internet fora (yuck yuck).

Finally, the printer started printing, but with wrong typefaces.

Today I experimented the most horrible system crash in my brief life of
computer user, thanks to my new, smart, fashionable IMac. My old,
ME/equipped ridicolous Dell baraccon never gave me such a treatment in
seven years of honourable service. The guy in the Apple customer service
(that took 49 euros for the service) couldn't believe what I was telling
him. At the end, I had to reinstall the OS losing ALL my data (nothing
SO deadly important, but a few things that I really miss now).
