It is also possibly the most public way of dragging down an ex-lover - the modern-day equivalent of putting him in the stocks and pelting him with rotten tomatoes. "It ...

... : Location shooting in Wales consumed four weeks. The weather there was wretched, and the film's gray, rainswept look mirrored Polanski's continuing depression during the filming. As always, he sought catharsis for his inner turmoil in actions both grotesque and cryptic. On Hefner's birthday, for instance, Polanski sent Hefner a short film of three aged naked women, intended to evoke ...

... he's gotten into some pretty serious stuff with others in groups. Even involved the police. Or am I being terribly naive....? No, you're not. We had a decent relationship at one time, but I went through some bad times and used the group as a catharsis. Bear didn't seem to like it too much because he lost the center of attention. That's when our trouble started. -- mad

... to realise we have been slaves/dominated by pop tech all these years. Kudos for Rob Pike when he told "Make the industry want your work." in "Systems Software Research is Irrelevant". Some evil twisted words, I'd say. In the end, industry wants pop tech. It is the user who ends up wanting/needing/missing. Plan 9 gives us an opportunity of catharsis and makes *you* in charge, again.

... The Persistence of Ambience. This shorter workflow allowed a clearer reflection of the composer's immediate world-line with less "time" separation. I found this marathon type of approach a real catharsis. When I felt "empty" ~ I stopped the creative process. Four long-form ambient pieces each easily flow one into the other for an overall similar yet distinct experience. I wanted to journey ...
