I tripped over this on the 'net.
Chlorination of cold water around poultry being processed resulted in
one of the most potent mutagens known (3;12):
...and then it gives a stickman figure of the structure of what I
think is a chloroform.
The only thing I remember about mutagens is that nitrous acid was
strong; and it was locked up in the mystery room.
...oh, and I fudged the data on my cross-bred fruitfly eye color lab.
But this guy has the gall to make such wild claims like he talking to
some peer review group. We know they are just out trying to preserve
their way of thinking like it was based on reasoned research over
millennia of people who historically really don't understand.
It was even in a book pushing the agenda..."Introduction to Green
Chemistry."
Typical leftist agenda working it's was into the educational system.
I look at the cost of what he is saying and I know it's not true. The
science isn't conclusive.

Well, chloroform is a specific molecule, not a class of
substances, so its either chlroroform or it's not.

I did not know that. Nitrous acid isn't all that strong in terms
of its properties as an acid, but it's a decent oxidizing agent.
Probably this causes (or contributes to) its mutagenicity.

Well, they are all red after they're dead.

...again Ted, I don't know. You're more into the medical field than I
am.... I wasn't even aware that pregnant women were vectors for
cholera...more than anyone else.
But, clearly, if they are, and having them drink bottled water will
help prevent the disease....I say, "bottoms up".

I don't know, Ted, It's just when I get to working with idiots I get
to being one myself.
I had some guy, today, try an tell me he wanted to take my father's
property and use it to benefit his development project and he was
going to call it community development.
...and I can't believe my job is to simply tell the truth.
