Klein (Arizona Legislature)
A reporter for the Arizona Republic writes in a profile of state
senator Lori Klein that the politician pulled a loaded, raspberry-pink
handgun from a special zippered case and aimed it straight at his
chest during an interview.

The revelation--mentioned off-hand in the original story--has now
created a media firestorm about gun safety, and a potential PR
headache for gun advocates.

Fake Democrats lose in Wis. primary recalls

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — All six fake Democrats lost to Democrats
supported by the party in primaries Tuesday that are the first in a
series of recall elections targeting nine Wisconsin state senators for
their positions on Republican Gov. Scott Walker's divisive union
rights restrictions.

The winners advance to take on incumbent Republicans targeted for
recall on Aug. 9.

The state Republican Party orchestrated the placement of the fake
Democrats on Tuesday's ballot, thereby delaying the general election
for a month. That gave the Republican incumbents more time to campaign
and distance themselves from the turmoil over the union law that they
voted to support in March, spurring the recall efforts.

Five of the six winners had at least 65 percent of the vote, based on
unofficial results. The sixth, Shelly Moore, had 54 percent.

Troubled Asset Relief Program: $700 billion. Projected budget deficit
for 2011: $1.4 trillion. Spending $3 million of taxpayer money on
treadmills for shrimp: Shameless.

Much ink has been spilt over raising the national debt limit, now at
$14.2 trillion. That number represents the cumulative amount of our
nation’s budget deficits–and roughly the size of the entire U.S.
economy. Scarier still: At current spending rates, that fiscal hole
hasn’t even begun to yawn.

And yet that’s what so many of us do when it comes to thorny economic
issues: yawn. (If you think people have a handle on this stuff, read
this: Financial Illiteracy Is Killing Us.)

We can all agree that digging a deeper hole is a bad thing. The
greater the amount of debt we have to service, the fewer resources
we’ll have to pay for things like roads, clean water, medical services
and such. And we like all those things.

The truth or a lie is all the same to Rudd.

Steven Everett Rudd has no pride.
Steven Everett Rudd has no manhood.
Steven Everett Rudd has no common sense.

BUT Steven Everett Rudd has a Mental Disease and an Internet
connection and posts his puke on a daily basis at all hours of the
day. Is he even really employed? Is THAT another lie?

See, Rudd doesn't give a fuck about even his own family. They are
always just a sick punch line to show he doesn't care for anything.
Pathetic slob.

Steve Rudd will continue to sink because there is no limit to the
depths to which he will sink. Nothing to save him. Just down.

Like COMMUNISM, CAPITALISM HAS NO COUNTRY: Verizon PRETENDS phone data COSTS them more

Author: John Boner

Awww, cuss. Companies used to pride themselves in giving service; now
it's in giving charges. Where will it end? Copyright the Sun,
charge for air.

Like COMMUNISM, CAPITALISM HAS NO COUNTRY: Verizon PRETENDS phone data
COSTS them more. Be sure to let the government tax you to give Big
Business Tax Breaks because despite a Corporation being considered a
legal fictitious "person," they have more rights than you. Always.

Amazing how American companies pretend that services "suddenly" cost
more. It's like when Texas pretends that it NEEDS to suddenly make
all these freeways that were paid for long ago with your tax money,
toll roads. What BS. Just a cheap little grab.

Infrastructure is already there and long paid for.

Verizon is the latest American company to decide that "unlimited phone
data plans" are suddenly too costly (i.e. Americans have been so
beaten down into a third world status that they will like sheep just
shuffle their hooves and pay more for breathing air.)

Capitalism: a Whore that would sell its own soul for a dollar if it
had one.

Why U.S. is not a Christian nation
By Kenneth C. Davis, Special to CNN
July 4, 2011 -- Updated 1310 GMT (2110 HKT)

Editor's note: Kenneth C. Davis is the author of "Don't Know Much
About History: Anniversary Edition" (HarperCollins). He posts
regularly at his blog at http://www.dontknowmuch.com/.

(CNN) -- As America celebrates its birthday on July 4, the timeless
words of Thomas Jefferson will surely be invoked to remind us of our
founding ideals -- that "All men are created equal" and are "endowed
by their Creator" with the right to "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of
Happiness." These phrases, a cherished part of our history, have
rightly been called "American Scripture."

But Jefferson penned another phrase, arguably his most famous after
those from the Declaration of Independence. These far more contentious
words -- "a wall of separation between church and state" -- lie at the
heart of the ongoing debate between those who see America as a
"Christian Nation" and those who see it as a secular republic, a
debate that is hotter than a Washington Fourth of July.
