Hi,
Has anyone configured gnus to use
gmail with IMAP, also with gmail
SMTP? Do you have examples or tips?
Thanks,
MaurÃcio

It should work OK. I assume you are getting things from macports.org
NOT darwinports? What errors are you getting?
Although the ports themselves are very old. I've been trying for
months to get them updated, but there doesn't appear to be anyone
listening at macports.org

Sorry I never tried darwinports, but I am using GNUstep on Ubuntu 8.04
in an VMware Fusion virtual machine. Any other should work as well. I
even use Fusion as my Windows test environment. Saves me from booting
that operating system.

Hi!
has anybody succesfully installed gnustep with darwinports port command?
I don´t get the packages gnustep-ui and gnustep-back compiled and
installed?
It´s totaly indifferent if compiled on PPC or C2D.
Does Gnustep work in a Linux virtual machine appliance?
thanks in advance

Hello All,
I believe I've almost got a working build on a Solaris 8 box; "make
install" tanks just short of completion. I have all the logs, but I can't
remember where they're supposed to be routed to for help. Any help is
appreciated.
Thanks,
Gren

Hi!
I'm trying to build GNUstep-base on a Solaris 10 SPARC machine, but at
linking time there is always one undefined symbol:
====
Compiling file AGSHtml.m ...
Linking tool autogsdoc ...
Undefined first referenced
symbol in file
__objc_msg_forward2 ../Source/./obj/libgnustep-base.so
ld: fatal: Symbol referencing errors. No output written to obj/
autogsdoc
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
gmake[2]: *** [obj/autogsdoc] Error 1
gmake[1]: *** [autogsdoc.all.tool.variables] Error 2
====
Is something missing on my box?
Thank you very much in advance,
Hector

Hello everyone,
As some of you know, I am participating in the Google Summer of Code
this year, looking at fixing various desktop integration issues in
GNUstep. Part of this project involves looking at the window focusing
issues. As an initial data-gathering step, I'm asking for people to
report window focusing issues that they have encountered in GNUstep.
Things such as:
- windows not gaining focus when they should
- windows gaining focus when they shouldn't
- the menu disappearing when it shouldn't (or not disappearing when it
should)
