Zugvögel zweimal jährlich Tausende von Kilometern zurück. Neben ihrem
Orientierungsvermögen erstaunt vor allem, wie Kleinvögel von nur
wenigen Gramm Körpergewicht solche Leistungen schaffen. Anhand
neuester Forschungsresultate geht der Ornithologe Lukas Jenni der
Frage nach, wie Singvögel auf dem Zug nach Afrika und zurück ihre
Reise meistern: Was erlaubt ihnen, stundenlang ohne Rast zu fliegen?
Wie überqueren sie die Sahara, und welchen Einfluss haben Wind und
Wetter auf den Vogelzug?

Fell über die Ohren ziehen und die Butter vom Brot klauen lassen für ihren
Aufschwung...
