... to ask this question. I found this interesting little critter in my kitchen (virginia, usa) this morning. See the picture at http://www.nyx.net/~dhcox/clawedmite.jpg. This is about the size of a deer tick, and looks a lot like a tick except for the ridges across the back and the long claws. I would appreciate an id, at least to the family, genus would be nice.
