I have some challenge ideas. Feel free to do any one or even all if you are
so inclined! It's up to you. :) I can't promise but I'd like to post a
challenge (or two, etc.) per month. Maybe if others have ideas to chime in
with, we can have a monthly challenge going so that we can get those
creative minds working together. :)
Challenge #1: Winter Kit
Color swatch is attached. This kit will be of the Winter theme. Snow,
snowflakes, mittens, scarfs, gloves, birds, wolves, deer, pine trees,
whatever makes you think of winter time outdoors. Think COLD (don't worry, I
have another challenge to warm you up afterwards. ;) ) In the swatch, the
metallic color represents metallic. How you get a metallic is all up to
you - be it a gradient, filter, Blade Pro, chrome, etc.
Challenge #2: Scrapbook of the Future
Scrapbooks usually are filled with memories of the past. Past trips, past
holidays, past occasions, past loves, past memories. What if we were to make
a scrapbook of the FUTURE! Now you probably wonder how, praytell can one do
THAT! LOL! Well, think of it as a time capsule of sorts.
In this scrapbook would be pictures that show idea, hopes and dreams for the
future. A picture of late June's graduation would signify the future career
of the graduate, for example. Think *ahead* with photos you have taken, or
even photos you plan to take but haven't yet. What photos would be
signifying the start of a future?
Now the challenge! Come up with a scrapbook kit, layout or plopper that
would go well with a "future" theme. You can use any colors you wish. The
theme here isn't based on a color swatch.
Challenge #3: Nice, Warm and Cozy
If you opted to do Challenge #1, maybe you'd like to follow up with this one
to warm up a bit. It gets cold outside! Use this color swatch to create a
nice, cozy-warm scrapbook kit for those pictures by the fireplace,
sleepovers and popcorn, or that snow day where you all stood in and watched
a movie and someone did something you HAD to capture in pictures! Or maybe
you and the kids baked cookies during the bitter cold days of mid-winter?
Maybe your pets already snuggled in - in YOUR bed? :) Attached is a color
swatch to get you started. You don't have to use all the colors in the
swatch. Pick 2, 3 or 4 of them to work with, if you like. Think warm, fuzzy
thoughts with this one. :)
