Hi Fuzzie, you can get great effects for fluffy things like this using the
KPT Fiber Optix Filter.
Here are three tuts using the filter and there are a few others around.
The first one is also called Fuzzy Bunnies

I made my home made Bailey's this year for Christmas. So easy and around 4
bottles of liqueur out of 1 bottle of scotch.
Looks great with a homemade label as a pressie...Pat

Hmmm, I actually have a recipe for homemade coffee liquer (widely known as
Kahlua) that I'm thinking of trying out for this holiday season . . . if it
comes out good it would make a nice homemade gift for me to give away this
year.

:o)

Make a stunning gift for someone Lori, especially as a memory box to hold
all their memorabilia etc.
I've been thinking of doing something similar for Shane and my mum but it's
one of those tasks I just haven't got to. Must add it to my list for the New
Year....Pat

Last Saturday I did a meet-the-author thingie at the ACMoore in Howell, NJ.
Only a handful of people dropped by, but those who did were intrigued with a
hybrid project I brought long. I distressed a small gift box with chalking
ink, then Mod-Podged a small layout onto the top of the box, added a ribbon
around the edge of the box's top using glue dots, and then tied a bow with a
piece of the same ribbon and stuck it on with a glue dot.

Lori

P.S. The layout here is one of Sally's, showing who I think must be her
husband's grandmother. It was made using papers and components included on
our book's DVD. The layout was resized and sharpened in PSP, then printed on
4"x6" photo paper that I then trimmed to 4"x4".

Hi Colleen, I was having trouble connecting for some reason with WLM and my
posts wouldn't go through and then things got hectic and I had to stop
checking a lot of mail. With the new year nearly here want to get things
back to normal. Opening the mail here used to be the first thing I did when
getting on the computer.
I tried again this week and it worked so whatever the glitch was seems to be
fixed for now.
Susi has been busy minding her grandkids. I'm usually in touch with her
every couple of weeks. She hasn't had the time to any any work for a
while...Pat

Thank you Barb. I really appreciate the feedback.
I'm just loving coding. Great challenge for the old grey matter.
I haven't got into slideshows themselves but my brother set up his scrap
alum on the screen at his party and everyone loved that.
Very rewarding for you to see the guests feelings and get the thumbs up from
the day.
It's those little moments that make it all worthwhile after the hours of
devotion and hard work you would have put into it. And it's such a good
feeling knowing you have put a little bit of joy and brightness into
another person's life with your creativity. Congratulations.

Wishing you a very Happy Day, I'm guessing it is Christmas Day where you
are, mine was yesterday. Take care...Pat

  Glass Bevel

Author: J
Date: Sep 9, 2008 14:25

Does anyone know of a good tutorial or setting to making "glass"
(transparent) letters using just psp and not eyecandy? I wish you could use
the inner bevel with just a selection, but it doesn't do anything if pixels
are not in the selection.

  My last Album finally uploaded

Author: Patricia
Date: Aug 13, 2008 04:46

I received an email this morning from Colleen reminding me that I hadn't given the link to my last album I made for my brother's 60th birthday. I only got it uploaded last week as have been busy building WebPages and learning new things.
It took a bit of jiggling to get another album onto my notice board so I will have to rework this at some stage and update the photos of the littlies as they have certainly grown since those photos were taken.

My sister in law asked me would I make an album for my brother's 60th and I agreed but asked could she give me 6 months. In the end that time was whittled down to 9 weeks and then due to Easter bringing...

Beautiful ribbon Joske. Love the shade and the gorgeous sheen on it.
I feel I could reach out and touch the texture.

I'm really sorry to read about Diva. Pets have a way of winding their way
into our hearts and their passing is always difficult.
I hope you are able to make the shelter cats feel wanted and loved before
their time comes. That's a lovely thing to do....Pat

I was getting out of practice :-) Free for personal use of course... if it's
of use.

Maybe the Image Skill site was temporarily down, because it was accessible
for me just now.

Thanks for looking and liking guys. I hope everyone is well, it's sooo quiet
here. Over here, it's extremely hot but luckily we're in for some cooler
weather.

My favorite cat Diva died almost 2 months ago, her immune system gave up for
no apparent reason; I still miss her, she was special. I made up by getting
two very aged cats from the shelter, one has a tumor behind his eye and so
he won't have long to live; he already has tiny seizures. The other cat was
very unhappy and angry, she's lovely now that she has attention and a garden
:-)
