I'm trying to design various templates for dvd jewel cases - and I can't
find sizes for them ANYWHERE - can anyone please help me out - if you know
of a url that lists sizes for:
standard 1cd case
case for 2 cd's
case for 4
case for 8
My templates are designed in corel draw on 8 1/2 x 14" paper - but I need
to know margins and bleed and all that -
thanks for any help

kinda confused here - I want to export a 5" circle graphic as a jpg at 600
dpi - so when I do that it of course changes the pixel size to 3000 height
and width pixel - however, when I attach it to an email to send, it looks a
LOT bigger than just 5" ... is there something I'm not doing when I save to
export? Should I be choosing anything on the box that comes up with the
encoding method (progressive or optimize) and the properties - should I be
choosing annoying for the compression or smoothing properties? What about
the subformat? That defaults at standard 4:2:2 which I have no clue what
that is eiher
thanks for any help!

Ok...for some reason when I try to put a drop shadow on a font for some
reason, instead of making a 'shadow' I'm getting a black box (as if I drew a
rectangle behind the font). anyone know how and how to get back to the
regular shadow? I've made sure all the icons at the top are what I want (or
have used before), but still get the black box.
thanks

(ohhh how I would love to upgrade!!!)

Can corel draw 9 import files from newer version of the software? Or is
it neccessary to use a alternative format such as .jpg.

I'm trying to import a pdf file into coreldraw v 9 - it won't open, so I've
tried to print to pdf writer and then save to file and then open it in corel
draw. It opens it ok, but it opens it at about 1/3 the size - the pdf file
is a template of a cd label - can anyone help me figure out how to import or
open the pdf file in coreldraw so that it is the correct size - or is there
a template for a cd label for coreldraw?
thanks

I've got the above suite and corel draw (not paint) always seems to 'hang'
... I've tried unintalling, rebooting and reinstalling, but it seems to
always come back. Sometimes it will hang when I first open it - opens fine,
then when I click on open file or something, it will just sit there and I
have to manually close it and then open it again - sometimes it's after I've
been using it for awhile and then it will hang when I try to save
something...
I'm on xppro, sp3, have a gateway with 168 gig of free space left, I have a
2.20 gigahertz AMD Athlong 64 x2 dual core, 256 kilobyte primary memory
cache and 1024 kilobyte secondary memory cache, and 1920 meg of installed
memory
does anyone know why it keeps crashing?
thanks

I use corel draw 9 to design a 'pedigree' picture - lots of text and one
picture - I save the file as a cdr and then export the picture/text to a
jpg. When I insert the jpg into frontpage and publish - the text always
looks jagged. What am I doing wrong? should I save the text to curves? I've
tried that but then the text looks like its in bold font and I don't what
that either. Is there a way to export the cdr file so that it looks the same
in a jpg as it does in the cdr?
thanks

Version 7.
I want to print on an A4 label sheet but the only defined label options
I can find are on US letter. I can define my own custom labels but can't
find how to specify A4 page size, rather than US letter - how?
