Good multiplayer fps for Mac Vs PC

I've got a mate on the other side of the world who wants to get a little
taste of home via a little 1st person shooter action with his iMac and my
PC.

Can anyone recommend a decent first person shooter for a couple of old Medal
of Honour fans? Recommendations for anything which will allow some easy to
configure one-on-one action across both platforms would be appreciated.

Thanks

You should find that most USB ones will work fine, if they are not fully
supported then USBoverdrive :
<http://www.usboverdrive.com/USBOverdrive/News.html>
will add full support.
The only ones you may have problems with are Force Feedback ones as some
of them have windows only drivers.

Anyone have a suggestion for a steering wheel/foot pedals set that works
well with a Mac? I find lots in my local big box store here in Germany,
but none indicate Mac compatibility, and I hesitate to just buy one and
hope it works.

TIA,

Dave

Can my PB G4 Ti (400MHz) handle kids' educational games?

Hello,

I've just upgraded to a new MacBook Pro for my business, and won't
need the old TiBook for that anymore. I'm trying to decide if I should
scrap it to sell as spare parts (the AirPort card alone is worth a good
bit) to get a used machine for the kids, or give it to my six-year old
as-is for educational gaming.

The specs for things like Dora the Explorer and Finding Nemo and
other games for her age group suggest the TiBook should be able to
handle them. But, I'm hesitant to buy these things only to find that
they won't work well and then I can't return them or have to pay a
restocking fee (not that it would be that much).

Thoughts? (It has 768MB RAM right now, and runs Tiger; Safari limps
along.)

Thanks!

Todd

Why not just use automator to back it up for you?

I know this isn't the cleanest route to go, but if you're saavy with
applescript, you can write one that will run (when scheduled in iCal)
whenever you want, daily, weekly, etc. That way, it'll just be there,
running whenever.
