Mystery solved. I had the one-to-many link pointing the wrong way.

Reflex: Repeating Collection in Entry Form

Author: Charles H. Sampson

O. k., all you greybeards. Here's a question from the deep past.
I've misplaced my Reflex Plus manual and I'm stumped.

I've added a repeating collection to an entry form I've used for
years. Under "Display Format" I've checked "Push Down" (the default).
But it doesn't push down. Instead, when I put the insertion caret in
the only item of this collection and hit CR, the upper-leftmost item of
the form is selected.

Any ideas? Other repeating collections in other forms add new
items as expected.

  [Ann] Pallet-Picker 2 Released

Author: billholt
Date: Jul 15, 2008 11:21

Announcing Pallet-Picker 2

We've all seen web sites and catalogues with print that just isn't
readable. Sometimes the type is too small, sometimes it's poor color
selection. Here, finally, is a tool that a designer can use to fight
the color selection problem.

Pallet-Picker 2 is released today by Notesoft. This program, for Mac
or Windows, assists graphics arts designers in two ways. First, it
creates a pallet of colors that is compatible with a controlling color
that the designer defines. Second, it locates good, readable colors
for the text that is to overlay any given background color. We
believe that PP2 is the only program in the world that performs this
important function. PP2 is the result of considerable research which
allows the program to approximate the judgment of many sets of human
eyes.

The price is only $20, with substantial discounts for educators and
site licenses. Visit www.notesoft.com for more information.

Tool to draw E-R diagrams from DDL schema?

Author: fishfry
Date: Jul 11, 2008 19:51

I'd like to find a tool that lets me input a DDL database schema (ie a
collection of CREATE TABLE statements) and outputs an E-R diagram.

I found XERD, which lets me draw the E-R diagram by hand, and then
automatically outputs DDL. I'd like to go the other way if possible.

Where do you go to find the ODBC drivers for Excel on the MAC. I know
exactly what to do on the Windows side, but I know nothing of the MAC world.
