Set your Mac TCP/IP Router address to 192.168.1.254, and see if it
will allow you to reach the WAN. Just because 192.168.1.1 is doing
DHCP, Doesn't mean that it is also the Gateway Router to the WAN.
These can be done in separate boxes. LIkely the Network Admin
has something else happening and you really need to talk to that guy.
