Noted. And I think you're right.
This pc's computer's gateway is .1
So is my mac when I connect using the same ethernet.

There is another pc who has its gateway set to .254
The airport express is unplugged so it's not a part of the network
anymore.

I think there might be another device that I'm not aware of.
I just browsed to the .254 from the computer whose gateway is .1 and I
got a log in window.

So... even though this pc is getting a dhcp from .1 there is another
device .254 doing something...
I'm going to check up on this. Will post results when I get back.
