  iWeb Problems

Author: mgrahm

Hi all

I recently changed the name of the folder where all of my iWeb files
are stored from Michaels_Wyoming_Travel_Pages to MWTP (I did, as I
needed a shorter URL for specific pages that I would putting on a
business card for my aunt, e.g. wyomingtravelpages/MWTP/Quilts.html
instead of wyomingtravelpages.com/Michaels_Wyoming_Travel_Pages/
Quilts.html). I then deleted the old folder from the server where I my
site is hosted and then uploaded the new folder. After doing this none
of the photos in photo albums appear when viewing this site. After
discovering this I looked at the source code and discovered that there
is no reference to photos in this code.

I have been told to delete the following preference file
comp.apple.iWeb.plist. I have done this and that seems to do nothing,
as there still are pages where no photos show up.

The url for my website is http://wyomingtravelpages.com. I was hoping
that someone out there could tell me where my Photos went. Why isn't
iWeb including them in the code for these pages?

Thanks
Michael

  Leopard sound question

Author: Dudley Henriques

Not sure if the right group to ask this. If not please excuse and "tell
me where to go" :-))

On my Macbook Pro using Leopard, I notice from time to time that my
sound slider goes lower than where I have set it at the top of the
slider bar. I'm assuming it has something to do with energy savings
lowering the sound somehow but I can't find a setting that might control
this or cause this to happen.
I want the sound to stay all the way up unless I lower it manually
myself. Is that possible?

In settings so you know, the output shows all the way up.
In energy savings, I'm using the power adapter (don't use battery at all
with this laptop. It's hooked up to AC all the time)
The one thing I see in there that might have an effect on the sound
being lowered is that the box is checked to put the HD to sleep whenever
possible.
Could this be the cause????

And having taken across a copy of MacSOUP to a PowerBook (PPC) with OS
10.3.9, the report is different:
MacSOUP is reported to be unscriptable
by AppleScript Editor 2.0 (43.1) with AppleScript 1.9.3.

So I think David is right to suggest that there is quite a mystery to
this.

That's not quite accurate. There _is_ a dictionary, but there's nothing
in it!

I'm not so sure. It could be a Script Editor bug, specifically to do
with how MacSOUP has structured the files inside the package, or a
specific way of structuring an application which Apple no longer
supports.

Can older versions of Script Editor correctly read the scripting
dictionary in the current MacSOUP?

For reference, I can successfully invoke MacSOUP's scripting features in
10.5.3, e.g.

osascript -e 'tell app "MacSOUP" to connect with fetching news'

I'm afraid this must be a bug in MacSOUP; the same happens on 10.5.3. I
didn't get around to looking into it yet, sorry.

Cheers,
Stefan

I want to send photos from my iPhoto photos to CVS instead of Kodak,
the provider of choice by iPhoto. So, how do I do that easily?

Regular readers of my posts know that HAMC can censor Google Groups
from time to time and since they can intimidate the courts, cops and
judiciary from time to time as well as the media and/or bribe them
and/or confuse them a major corporation isn't much of a stretch. Heck
the Mafia once extorted money from a NYSE listed company in fact two
of them from the top 500. I will try to get Google Groups to re-list
it. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Thanks to anyone who like in the past can get Google Groups to restore
the original post.
