  Safari and RSS feeds

Hi,

I have Safari set to check for my RSS feeds every 30 minutes, but is
there some way I can check all my feeds manually (without having to
click on every single one).

TIA,

Danny

I think you better check again. He had better luck the first time.

In general, posting the same thing more than once is frowned upon and is
considered bad etiquette.

Sorry - don't know. I'll throw you a bone, though:

I have RealPlayer installed, and it has a component called RealPlayer
Downloader that automatically launches any time you view flash or other
downloadable content, giving you a chance to download it. It's actually
quite handy for that sort of thing:

Since AES had much better luck recycling his question through a second
time, I'll try the same tactic.

Does anyone know where Leopard (Safari) stores the temp file for a flash
video stream? It is definitely in a different place than Tiger.

(And if he/she does know, would they graciously post the information?)

  simple curiosity

Simple curiosity: Does anyone have any idea what might have happened?

Something cured my problem, but I have no idea what it was. It went like
this:

Some months ago, I appealed to one or both of these groups for advice on
dealing with a nasty problem I was having with the OS X AppleWorks 6 on
my laptop. It kept crashing multiple times every time I opened it.
Sometimes it took better than half a dozen tries to get it to stay open
so I could use it.

Someone suggested that I try signing out and inventing a new user ID to
see whether it was AW or something else. When I did, AW behaved
perfectly normally, as it also did on my G4 running OS 9.2.2. That
didn't help with all the WP documents I needed to get into and alter
from time to time, however, so I just kept using it and cursing it.

(I'm sure someone also suggested I get another WP, but I need one both
computers can read, as my printer is one generation too old to get
drivers for OS X.)

  Movie colour question

Author: Danny Parker
Date: Jul 5, 2008 07:25

Hi,

Are there any programmes which allow you to adjust with the colours of a
movie (eg the contrast, brightness etc) while it is playing. The movie
could be either an avi file or something directly from a DVD.

TIA,

Danny
