Just wondering how the progress of that icon utility we we're talking
about was going? No rush, just curious :)

1) ID theft is a crime.

2) If you did not want to be traceable you should have committed your crime
from a news reader other than your norm:
MT-NewsWatcher/3.4 (PPC Mac OS X)
Looking at the list of people who use that you are the *only* one
who is even a likely suspect. No reasonable doubt it is you.

Yes, Steve, you have - again - been busted.

Please stop. The next step is legal authorities to report the ID theft. A
public acknowledgement of your behavior and an apology would be appreciated.

Let's face it: We love computers, we love to be creative, we love to
show off our talents to as many
people as will watch, and we love to make money doing it.

So why don't more of us excel at the money-making? I know you have
looked at the sales page of an
internet marketing site and just shaken your head and said to
yourself, "I can do better than that!"

Perhaps you've come across a couple of good ones - real cornea poppers
- that make you wonder "How'd
they DO that? Do I have the software and know-how to make stuff like
that?" You didn't care what they
were selling; you just drooled at the creative possibilities!

So, again, why don't more of us excel at money-making? What if I could
show you a way to do what you
love doing - creating websites, writing innovative code, developing
databases, et al - and make more
money than your boss? Maybe more than your CEO? (Microsoft employees,
ignore that last! Bill's gonna
make more than you... sorry.)

Mixing medications is not a good thing... as evidenced by Snit's
delusions.

Snit, please stop using your sock puppets.

Thanks.

  PC laptop worthless - M$ says XP isn't genuine - and $MS want's $150 - machine's worth $200

OK.

So I brought my PCG-Z505LS back to life after not using the machine
for over 5 years.

It's a 3.4 lbs ultra thin laptop that runs a Pentium III at 800Mgz.

I took it out of the closet because I wanted a cheap machine where the
kids could watch iTunes vids.

So I purchased a 80GB harddrive - ghosted the old 20GB drive - that
was partitioned as 8GB/12GB.

To be honest - I took the machine apart but had a local PC guy do the
ghosting and repartitioning into one partition - that cost $89.

When I started up I was delighted.

First step is M$ update - and guess who says no because my machine
isn't running a geniune version of XP?

Yep. M$.

Never mind that the machine as a valid license key for virus prone
Microsoft Me.

I attempted to install iTunes - but it wanted SP2.

I upgraded to SP3. No problem.
