  Re: has anybody checked?

You may have to run your own tests to find out if there are toxic
emissions coming from Mac hardware.

There are many toxic substances used to create consumer electronics.
Apple claims that they no longer use a variety of toxic chemicals.

Here are some articles on the subject:

  Mac Spyware?

Author: kordek
Date: Feb 10, 2008 13:31

I'm looking for a Spyware Protection / Removal program for my Mac OS
but the only one I find (MacScan) just downloads in binary and locks
up the computer.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I don't think its wise to run ANY computer without adequate
protection.

Thanks

That was me.

That's handy way to avoid giving real credentials.

So you know as much about Mac music production as some journalists do.

It's not "fishing for personal information to ask what MIDI software you
use on the PC when you're asking about MIDI software for the Mac that is
its equivalent

Thats a good thought. I hadn't considered a possible Red Chinese conspiracy
to dumb down American consumers. That might explain the Scientology-like
following that Apple and Steve Jobs have. I just thought it was the inherent
gullibility of Apple's small yet vocal customer base.

Get over yourself. You're not that important.

Nightly Build of Safari / Webkit

Author: Snit

Anyone else tried it? I read that it was faster and finding that is
certainly the case - and it has not crashed on me yet, though Pith Helmet
does not work with it which is a bit of an understandable bummer.

Still, this is likely a sign of good things to come for Safari - an already
excellent and very stable web browser... I wonder if Apple is going to
update Safari / Webkit in the soon to be release 10.5.2?
