I don't think so. I'm not sure many others hereabouts would say that.

Not for me. I'd easily rate them among my top 3 favorite publishers.
Maybe a bit further down if we limited it to just wargames instead of
strategy games in general.

Ouch. I'm going to break my resolve to never again attempt a sortie
here and take the bait. I'm sleep-deprived from our release of
Dominions 3 (three days before promised at that) and feeling the need
for a good scuffle. And behold, this opportunity appears before me.

Shrapnel Games, founded in 1999, has published these wargames designed
by developers ranging from teams of highly-acclaimed veterans to
bright, talented individuals new to the industry:

Put all that in a garbage bin :) (ok Matrix had few good games, but mostly
garbage in pure form)
Except Battlefront.com (because Combat Mission, 1848 and upcoming Theatre of
War)...
Add to list Shrapnel Games (only because of Dominions 1-3)

Add also Storm Eagle Studios...
Add aslo Paradox Entertainment for their games (HoI and others).
Add also KOEI for their PS2 war-strategy games... And some upcoming will
soon emerge that didn't released their games yet.

uh-oh - Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned in publishing :)

Add my step to the list.

That'll be $50 for the use of war-historical for therapeutic purposes
:)

Well, there's a change (from "all garbage" before) - could you name
those "few good games" ? :)

Yup, the customer always comes first with those guys. First to get
insulted that is. Want to read the quotes again ?

Paradox and "quality" - agreed if you wait until about a year after
release and apply 3 patches or so. I'm not saying they're bad games,
but my definition of "quality" is a bit different.
