Since I reconfigured my PC, I can't run video DVD.
I have a picture, but also white dots around the screen.
That is not the case with video coming from the net.
The DVD drive is working correctly. I have WinXP.
What to do ?

I am attempting to use hyperterminal to configure this switch via serial
interface. However, upon connection, every time I press enter, tilde symbol
is displayed instead of menu.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

  Exact Model Number for HDX

Author: FLCOMCAST
Date: May 28, 2008 10:04

Can anyone tell me where I can find the exact model number of the HDX Dragon
I have? System page just says 9300 but HP support page lists about twenty
models. Don't tell me its on the label underneath either, I have those
committed to memory I've read them so many times. Is there any software way
to find out? Many thanks people....David

HP dishonoring Accidental Damage Protection agreement

Author: silvermangb
Date: May 20, 2008 10:46

Does anyone have experience with HP's Accidental Damage Protection
(ADP) plan for consumer PC's? I sent my PC in for repair under the ADP
and HP says that I will have to pay $1080 because the problem is
"beyond economic cost". What does that mean? I spilled a drink on the
keyboard and the ADP explicitly covers spills, so why are they
refusing to repair it for free? Were did this phrase "beyond economic
cost" come from? I can't find it in the ADP agreements.

To make it even worse, when I sent the PC in it was working fine
except for some sticky keys and the finger print sensor not working.
How could their tech's come to the conclusion that the hardware is
completely broken?

any future with HP NON-STOP mainframes

Author: Ioannis

Hello
Last week I had a job interview with a company that is an accredited HP
NON-STOP server system integrator.
They are seeking for a candidate to join them.
They claim to be the sole supplier of this series, ever since the Tandem
years.
Does this mainframe platform have any future?
Do mainframe related jobs pay good money?
