Merry Christmas,

Out of curiosity, or to have them work in an emulator?

Each block is 1K of memory. However, this test is partially bogus. The
test doesn't really test any memory "under" the self-test area, and it
neither tests the display area and the first 1K block. Instead, it just
waits for a while and then highlights the block. The remaining memory is
"sort-of" tested (not very elaborate, though, for a real test you should
write into the memory completely, then read the data back. For example,
if two address lines have a short, this "test" wouldn't be able to
detect it.)
So long,
Thomas
