Just checked it out - a sort of extended pac-man.
Those commentators are pretty daft! :)

I'm seriously considering registering WHDLoad and getting a key, but I have
a couple of questions...
I've seen reference to the fact that if you register and receive a key file,
you periodically need to update it to keep WHDLoad installations running.
Is this true, and if so, how often do you need to apply a key update? Do
you need to get the update manually, or is it emailed to a registered email
address?
I see that there are many games with custom WHDLoad "installers". Is there
a 'generic' installer that works with many (possibly even a majority of)
Amiga games, or does each and every game require a custom installer?

I tries to load the Archon, One On One, and Archon 2 from Underground
Network Production. There is error saying "Software Failure, Guru Meditation
#00000004.00001970". What is it? I use WinUAE 1.5.1. Any solution?
Thanks!
Jack

Sorry for the last minute news, but anybody interested in Elite in the UK
might want to watch Channel 5 tonight (Friday) at about 7.30pm - I think.
Cheers.

I wrote a post in here about a day ago, but it hasn't shown up on my
ISP's server, so I'm checking for follow-ups via GoogleGroups (seen one
reply by Angus so far).
Is there some general problem...?
(And no, based on the screenshots that's not it. My game had much more
subdied colours, minimal graphics, IIRC often primitive schematical
top-down repressentations of aircraft. The game from the screenshots
looks rather more fun.)

I remember playing this game on the Amiga in the very early 1990s.
Probably on my first Amiga, the A500. I can't recall if it worked on the
A1200 as well.
It was a strategic game, no twitching, where you control the air defence
assets of a country. You had different kinds of aircraft, and IIRC there
were also defence installations such as SAM sites, and...

Digital Image Design, was I think Martin Kenwright's company. He had been
an artist in the Falcon games I believe, and when he set up DID with a
plan for producing groundbreaking and visually brilliant 3D games for the
Amiga, a lot of excitement was generated.
I think they did the programming for Robocop 3D which was one of the best
licenses ever released on the Amiga, and shortly afterwards the hype for
their next game, F29 Retaliator began. The initial screenshots in the
games magazines did not disappoint, and the interviews and game reviews
added to the excitement - the game was clearly going to be a blockbuster
of unprecented quality and programming flair - except it wasn't.
The game looked gorgeous in screenshots, but many shortcuts had been made,
the ships changed course in very unrealistic 30 or 40 degree jumps, the
mountain's collison detection did not conform to the mountain's graphics,
it was apparently a large rectangle that enclosed the mountain - making
contour hugging flight somewhat dangerous to the pilot and his sense of
humour! There were major graphic glitches on the instrument panel,,,,
And the list went on, and on.

Hi all,
Can anyone identify this game.
I only ever played it as a demo on a cover disk, don't know if it was
ever released.
It was a side scrolling/screen flipping (don't remember) platformer
where you played a zoo keeper (possibly) and you had to capture the
monkeys that had escaped. If I remember correctly you had to hit them
with a baseball bat(!!!!) to knock them out then carry them to a cage.
There was also a big gorilla you had to entice with a female gorilla
or blow up doll!!
This game did exist although writing that down makes it sound like a
product of my fetid imagination...
Anyone else remember it?
Gareth
