Author: Rob Kendrick
Date: Sep 3, 2008 07:15

Hi,

Does anybody have a copy of Owain Cole's Java port of his version of
Super Foul Egg to hand? I can't track it down on the web anymore.

Alternatively, does anybody have Owain's contact details to hand?

  Freeciv for RISC OS

Author: Jess
Date: Aug 13, 2008 14:04

Hi

I have tried searching for Freeciv and only found dead links (my son
wants to try it). Does anyone have a link?

How well does it run on a normal strongarm RPC?

thanks

  Name of the game wanted

Author: vic800r
Date: Aug 13, 2008 02:11

Hi,

I am looking for the name of an old BBC model B game.
Here is what I remember about it:

It is 2D block moving game.
It was written mostly in BBC Basic with some assembler parts.
At the start of the game the screen was randomly filled with the
bricks and the several small creatures (small squares with a cat face
or something like this)
These creatures start moving toward you (small man) Each of your turns
is
followed by one turn from each cat face. Your goal is to block all the
creaturres
by locking them (building walls) with the bricks.
You can push bricks in front of you in any direction.
The game ends when all the creatures are blocked and can not
make any movements any more.

It was very addictive game and after many years I would like to play
it again.

Please tell me how it was named.

  Repton levels past and present

Author: groups163
Date: Aug 2, 2008 13:45

We're hoping to collect a definitive repository of Repton levels
created for any version of Repton that's been released for Acorn and
RISC OS computers over the years. These would be freely available to
anybody and on a webpage. If anybody has any - and people here have
wanted to share them over the years - please could you now get in
touch?

This way, everybody else can enjoy your hard work and finally
appreciate your designs for the future!

Email groups163@gmail.com

So presumably this would be Repton 3 or Repton Infinity or anything
that can be loaded into an existing Repton game.

The levels alternatively might be some you have collected from PD
discs over the years or even found on the internet. If so, they would
still be welcome as would any URL link.

Thanks

Andrew

  New C64-games on DT#83 (Frodo/VICE)

Author: Alex' A. Interrants

Hi,

new native games for RISC OS are very rare. So I thought it's not a bad
idea to inform you about new C64-games. The DT-crew released now a new
issue of Digital Talk (a German disc magazine - it appears since 1993)
which contains some new games / previews (some of them are in English
language) which you can play by VICE or FRODO:
