Created on July 19, 1995.

In 1999, CPEM was in trouble. Terje Johansen began his attempt to
revive interest in the newsgroup on November 21st of that year. He
succeeded for quite a few months. However, he unsubscribed in March
of 2002. CPEM never recovered thereafter.
