The Snap 3.1.8 documentation lists the Intel 845G as supported, but does not
show the 845G/GV like is shown in the 915G/GV documentation.

I'm investigating a replacement industrial SBC board which has the 845GV chip
on it and is reported to be able to handle both the conventional video output
as well as Flat Panel output via a daughter board plug in option. I'm not
interested in the Flat Panel output as the Rose KVM system I use has to be used
with older service bench use in analog mode.

Is it unreasonable to believe that the Snap 3.1.8 would not work in the analog
mode with this chipset?

After a lengthy period of decay I am reinstalling my system from scratch
and if you can believe it am pretty excited about how much stuff I can
refresh since the last time (~2003... where have you gone warpupdates.de?).

I am running Warp 4 FP15. I nicked a new monitor this time 'round and
am determined to get at least 1280x1024X16M resolution from the ATI Rage
Pro 8MB card. I have two free driver choices, each with issues that I
hope will look familiar to someone, please tell me what's fixable!

is a dealbreaker.
