  problem while using AddBar to existing rebar control on IE

"ASSERT(_afxComCtlVersion != -1)" This assertion is thrown when i
tried to add a band object ( derived from CToolBarCtrl ) to existing
rebar control on Internet Explorer using AddBar function

Can any one tell me how to rotate the bitmap using C++(but not MFC).
