  Re: Moving from DOS to Windows CE with Existing Hardware..

You need Platform Builder, so that you can get samples of other serial
drivers. You'll have to share an interrupt, as I suppose that all four or
eight ports on the DigiBoard probably share a single interrupt, so read
about that in the Platform Builder help. Budget three months or so to
understand what you have to do, to make a first attempt at it, to ask
questions about why it doesn't work, get the answers and implement the final
solution.

  Windows CE screen dump

Author: mgoyeah

Hi, I am using Embedded Visual C++ 4.0 on Windows CE 5, but not
utilitisng MFC, just the Win API. Can anyone suggest a fast way to
access the screen memory so I can save it as a bitmap. I can use the
GetPixel way, but it is terribly slow (about 1 minute for a 800x600
screen). Thanks in advance for any information. Mark.

Hi !!
I need some information regarding following things ..
We have one system on single board computer (SBC) having DOS. We are
planning to move with Windows CE with same existing hardware. Hardware
contains motherboard X86 and with enough RAM digicard etc.
Is it possible to move with windows CE 5.0 or any version ?
If it is possible what kind of change (hardware or any other changes)
we should keep in mind for that..??

Thank in Advance..

  CE Utility For Changing CPU Frequency?

Author: Slo

We have a board with a Pentium M and 855GME chipset. Does
anyone know of a CE resident utility that can let us change the
CPU's clock frequency?

Thanks!

  Dynamic RNDIS configuration

[Sorry for the cross-post; just trying to get this answered somehow]

Our scenario is that we basically have a network of communicating
devices.
Any one of these devices can, at any time later, have a host attach,
where
"attaching" a host involves connecting USB to the device such that the
RNDIS virtual adapters appear on both the host and device, as expected.
We use ICS and NAT to allow the host to communicate with the device
network.

Through much trial, I have found that this all works if we 'hardcode'
the IP address for the
static mapping thusly:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\ConnectionSharing\Servers\Service]
"InternalName"="192.168.5.1" ; or something thereabouts
"InternalPort"=dword:xxx ;
"IsEnabled"=dword:1
"Port"=dword:xxx ;
"Protocol"="UDP" ; or "TCP"
