Hello:

I am working with a table within a MS WORD 2003 document. I want to
ultimately generate a .CSV file based from the tabular data.

I have been told that the data must first be placed within an EXCEL
spreadsheet before exporting/saving as a .CSV file format.

What is the best way to proceed ?

Thanks. I was able to import the .DOC file into EXCEL 2003, but I
should have been more specific.

I would prefer to have the data in comma delimited format (DOS), not
in EXCEL format. IOW, similar to the below list:

My older Excel (v 5) has CSV as a specific option. File menu, Save as.
Choose file type, CSV.
