Problem with disks on ES40

Hi all,
i've problems installing Linux on ES40 because kernel cannot see disks.
Here's dmesg on my latest attempt with Gentoo 2008:

Hardware is OK, because with the installed HP-UX all works well.
HP-UX on ES40? Think Tru64 UNIX :)

You may want to look at this article re the Adaptec raid controller and
linux

To follow up, he was attempting to boot the Gentoo 2008.0 livecd,
which lacked support for this hardware.

Blackb|rd (in #gentoo-alpha on Freenode) is creating him a new ISO,
which should remedy the situation.

O-Zone should have replied to his own topic when the problem was
identified and a solution put in place.

Yes, i've tried the ISO by Blackbird with i2o support but we don't
resolve the problem. Seems that DPT support for alpha (64bit) is not
available...
