Forrester survey discovers that virtually no one uses open source (?!?)

,----[ Quote ]
| Back in 2005, Microsoft was paying Forrester for anti-Linux research. I
| assume that this report, referenced at the top of this post, is more of the
| same. But even in the midst of FUD there is real data that can make
| open-source vendors better.

| Still browsing through Microsoft's Get the Facts campaign website, and I
| think I found one of the primary reasons Microsoft is hammering on

| Forrester chart, available here in its original report, posted (and paid for)
| by Microsoft.

For personal use, that's still true. And it will be true for a long time.

Lie.

huh? But the luser just said it was paid anti-Linux stuff?

Oh, I get it: they pick and choose the parts they wish to believe. If the
report shows negative news about Linux, it's propaganda. If it shows
positive news, it's "real data".

Here's a piece of real data for you: the Linux "community" is a pack of real
fools.

As a personal desktop system, that is true.
Yet another survey shows Linux is not even on the radar map.

So are *all* of these companies and surveys wrong, Roy Schestowitz?

The truth sometimes hurts.
