Linux is now the best tech excitement out there with more features
ease of customisation, lower cost and higher speeds.
Its also less evil, more suited to learning and developer environment
than any other competing systems.
Linux has the lowest barrier to entry than any other operating system for
the PC.
Linux less involved in politics and politicking and a lot more
involved in openeness and code sharing.
Linux lifts the cloud hanging over proprietory software.
Proprietory software has no source code, it has WINDUMMY written license you
MUST follow, and if you copy and install, you are guilty
until proven innocent. To top that, whatever you install,
it could be watching you, your bank accounts, and all your other
passwords and pass them around to total strangers in Micoshaft Corporation
to botnet owners which you are powerless to stop.
Uses don't need all this baggage and switch to Linux once they
hear about it and get trained up.

Yes, and you're lucky you're not drowning in the kiddie wading pool.
Come back when you have a coherent thought that doesn't require
106 question marks.

Linux, has the stability and also the security enhancements that many
desire. MS Windows will dominate for a while, where glitz is
desired. Especially PC games, where the game makers still prefer
Windows, due to its wide adaptation.
Serious entrepreneurs often select the cheaper linux boxes for
business use, as the OS can be had for free; and the base-system incl.
monitor often runs less than $300 US for a fully configured system...

Free?!?! Don't be silly! If it was free, why on Earth would people PAY for
something else? ;-)
If it's free, it couldn't possibly work.... and some other lame arguments
that defy logic.....
